James Willis

Born and educated in the UK, I came to Australia at age 21, leaving two days after my wedding. I lived first in Wollongong and then in Sydney, making a career in the computer industry. My hobby was sailing, and over the next fifteen years we mixed months of cruising in the yacht we lived on, with years of work and boat building.

In the eighties we finished with boating and travelled by caravan extensively in Australia, coming to live in this area in 1985. In the nineties I returned to the workforce, and I now live on a rural property near Toowoomba with my second wife.

I wanted to acquire writing skills initially to make money, and to explore myself, also giving my readers the chance to explore themselves.
