Crows Nest is a pleasant, peaceful primary producing little country town approx. 1700 feet above sea level and set in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range about forty kilometres north of the city of Toowoomba and only a two-hour drive to Brisbane.
Crows Nest was a "Tidy Towns"winner and has all the essentials for its inhabitants. Among its attributes are a Medical Centre, Hospital, Nursing Home, school (both primary and high), golf, squash and tennis courts, football, bowls and a freshly renovated local Show Grounds. It has a wide range of shopping facilities plus a reliable bus service to Toowoomba. Many elderly persons come to Crows Nest for retirement as it is a safe little township and has all the amenities to help make a healthy and happy lifestyle for all ages. Alice Berry,
